Description

Leadership development is an important competency for emerging and existing psychologists who may seek to obtain new or greater positions of responsibility in their work and/or community settings. In this course, the presenter will define leadership and identify the qualities of effective leaders and help participants identify their own leadership styles leadership types as they apply to different situations. The concept of lifelong leadership development with be discussed, as well so that participants are able to set realistic and attainable goals for themselves in relation to short- and long-term leadership goals.

 

Learning Objectives

  1. Discuss at least three popular leadership qualities.  
  2. Identify your leadership style.
  3. List at least three personal goals for long-term leadership growth
