In this course, the co-presenters will discuss principles of negotiation as it applies to situations regarding positions, salaries, and acquiring resources. They will begin by describing strategies that are routinely used by psychologists to help ensure successful negotiations and will share with participants the important resources that are both helpful and necessary to successfully prepare for any negotiation. Finally, the program will address how to use mentoring relationships to become a better negotiator and to support oneself during the negotiation process.
