Description

This program describes new models of distributed leadership that have demonstrated success in interprofessional teams. Participants will learn skills to facilitate effective, evidence-based teamwork. The presenter will describe theories of intentional leadership and followership, highlighting how an adaptable style offers great opportunity for emerging leaders in psychology.

 

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify at least two elements of effective teamwork.
  2. Discuss the rationale and implementation of a distributed leadership model.
  3. Describe the value of followership.
