Mood disorders and suicide are increasing, especially in teens and young adults. There has been an explosion of research in the last 10 years, and new versions of the DSM and ICD have appeared. Should any of this change how we practice? The presenter uses a set of clinical cases to illustrate points of controversy and makes practical recommendations. This intermediate workshop focuses on clinical implications, practical evidence-based tools, techniques to clarify differential diagnosis, and effective treatment options.
